Refund Policy and Credit Terms

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It explains how Cloudeek credits work and when you can get your money back.
How credits work
- Credits are prepaid and valued in US dollars. Your balance is shown in the Extension.
- Paid features use your credits. Each AI request costs its actual cost from our AI providers, multiplied by our current rate, and the Extension shows what every action cost.
- Credits don't expire while your account is open.
- Credits have no cash value except as refunded under this policy, and they can't be transferred.
30-day refund of unused credits
You can get a full refund of the unused part of any credit purchase within 30 days of the purchase date.
- What counts as unused. Credits are used in this order: promotional credits first, then purchased credits, oldest purchase first. So the purchases most likely to be unused are your most recent ones, which are the ones still inside the 30-day window.
- Example. You buy $10 of credits on March 1 and $25 on March 20, and use $12 by March 25. The first $10 comes from the March 1 purchase and the other $2 from the March 20 purchase. On March 25 you can get back $23: the unused part of the March 20 purchase. The March 1 purchase is fully used.
- The refund goes back to your original payment method and includes the sales tax you paid on the refunded amount. Refunded credits are removed from your balance.
- Credits you've already used aren't refundable, because we've already paid our AI providers for that usage.
- Promotional credits, such as a sign-up bonus, are never refundable.
When we always make it right
- If a request fails because of an error on our side or our providers', we return the credits it used, usually automatically. If you think a charge is wrong, write to us and we'll check it.
- If we close your account without you having broken our terms, or we stop offering the Service, we refund all your unused purchased credits, whenever you bought them.
- If we make a significant change to our terms that you don't accept, you can close your account before it takes effect and get back all your unused purchased credits (see section 10 of the Terms of Service).
Closing your account
When you close your account, we refund the unused part of purchases made in the last 30 days, plus anything due under "When we always make it right". Other remaining credits end when the account is closed. If you still have credits, you may prefer to keep your account open: credits don't expire.
How to ask for a refund
Email info@cloudeek.com from the address you sign in with, and tell us the purchase date or the receipt number. We reply within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. Your bank may take another 5 to 10 business days to show it.
Stripe, our merchant of record, also handles purchase questions through the Link support site linked from your receipt. Stripe may issue refunds within 60 days of a purchase in some cases. Any refund Stripe issues is treated as a refund under this policy.
Payment disputes
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually fix the problem faster. If you dispute a purchase, we remove the credits from that purchase while the dispute is open, and we may pause paid features on your account until it's resolved.
Price changes
We may change the price of credits or our rate for usage. Changes apply only to future purchases and usage, we announce them in advance, and they never reduce the value of credits you already hold.
Your legal rights
This policy doesn't limit any right you have under the consumer protection laws where you live, including any right to cancel a purchase.
